Forces Due to Magnetic Fields and Magnetic Torque

Forces Due to Magnetic Fields:

There are at least three ways in which force due to magnetic fields can be experienced. The force can be

a) Due to a moving charged particle in a B field
b) on a current element in an external B field or
c) Between two current elements

Magnetic field at any point on the line through the center of a circular loop

Example 1: Develop an expression for the magnetic field at any point on the line through the center at a distance 'h' from the center and perpendicular to the plane of a circular loop of radius 'a' and carrying current I.
