Interpret evidence - Why
Tell about what you did and found out
Figuring out your study
What?
Who?

Conceptualization
• Problem Formulation
• "Well begun is half done" --Aristotle
• Where do research topics come from?
• Is the study feasible?
• The Literature Review
• From Where literature comes from?
Research Plan
• Plan your research
• Define aims and objectives
• Take training if required ? Software/hardware
• Research Proposals / funding etc.
• Possible alternatives, actions,strategies Implementation
• Plan your experimentation in Phases.
• Compare your results.
• Discuss your results with your supervisor and publish it in reputed conferences and journals.
• Start writing thesis……..
What Research Is Not
Research isn't information gathering:
- Gathering information from resources such books or magazines isn't research.
- No contribution to new knowledge.
- Research isn't the transportation of facts:
- Merely transporting facts from one resource to another doesn't constitute research.
- No contribution to new knowledge although this might make existing knowledge more accessible.
What Research Is
Research is: “…the systematic process of collecting and analyzing information (data) in order to increase our understanding of the phenomenon about which we are concerned or interested.”
